Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

BloomHer is developed and published by AppLift Labs, an independent app studio. For any privacy question or request, email hello@appliftlabs.com.

2. Information we collect

a. Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile photo from your Google account. When you sign up with email, we collect your email address and the password you choose.

b. Health and wellness information you enter

• Period start dates, cycle history and cycle lengths
• Daily check-ins: mood, energy, symptoms and habits you tick
• Water intake, body weight and height (used for your water goal and BMI)
• Medications and supplements you add, and doses you mark as taken
• Gratitude journal entries
• Your reminder settings, such as which reminders are on and at what time

c. Steps from Health Connect or Apple Health

If you give permission, BloomHer reads your daily step count from Health Connect (Android) or Apple Health (iOS) to show your progress toward 10,000 steps and to tick your steps habit automatically. We only request the step data needed for these features. You can withdraw this permission at any time in Health Connect or in the Health app on iPhone.

d. Bloom AI coach conversations

When you chat with Bloom, we process your messages together with relevant context, such as your current cycle phase and today's check-in, to generate a reply. We also use your last 14 days of entries to generate the AI insight shown on your home screen.

e. Purchase information

BloomHer Pro payments are processed by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of your purchase, including the plan, amount, date and order or payment ID. We do not receive or store your full card number, UPI PIN or netbanking credentials.

f. Technical information

Like most apps, BloomHer may collect basic technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version and crash reports, so we can keep the app working reliably.

3. How we use your information

• To run the app's features: cycle predictions, fertile window, health score, streaks, trends and insights
• To generate Bloom AI coach replies and home-screen insights
• To send the reminders you have switched on
• To process BloomHer Pro purchases and give you access to Pro features
• To provide support, keep accounts secure and fix bugs
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not show ads, we do not sell your personal or health data, and we do not use your health data for advertising or marketing.

4. Health Connect and Apple Health

The use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data read from Health Connect or Apple Health is used only to provide BloomHer's features to you. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never shared with data brokers or information resellers.

5. How we share information

We only share information with service providers that help us run BloomHer, and only as needed:

• Cloud hosting, database and sign-in providers, which store your account and app data and handle login, including Google Sign-In
• AI service provider, which processes Bloom AI coach messages and insight requests to generate replies
• Razorpay, which processes BloomHer Pro payments under its own privacy policy

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety, rights or property of our users or AppLift Labs.

6. How we protect your data

Your data is linked to your account, and access rules ensure each account can only see its own data. Data is encrypted in transit between the app and our servers. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can access it.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your account and app data from our active systems within 30 days. We may keep purchase records for as long as tax and accounting laws require. See Delete Account for full details.

8. Your choices and rights

• View and edit your entries in the app, and remove wrong period dates or medications
• Turn each reminder on or off, or change its time
• Withdraw Health Connect or Apple Health access at any time
• Delete your account and all data from inside the app, or by emailing us
• Ask us for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other laws that apply to you

9. Age requirement

BloomHer is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

BloomHer is a wellness tracker, not a medical device. Please read our Medical Disclaimer.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
